ON THE CREAMERY FLOOR:
If you’re the kind of person who likes to get a lot done in a day, have something amazing to show for it, but would like to work a little less than 40 hours per week, we’d like to talk with you.
Our production team is looking for a super-reliable, good-natured, smart, clean, easy-going person who can comfortably lift 50 lbs. Experience isn’t necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to get behind our thoughtful and streamlined production program is a must. Monday-Friday, 7:30 until we’re done (ranging from about 12:30 to 3:30, depending on the day of the week and the volume of milk we’re running).
This job involves cleaning tanks with long-handled brushes, moving around crates of milk bottles (empty and full), loading and unloading our clackety bottle washer, and freezing ice cream on Wednesdays.
We are looking for a long-term employee who will find the work here interesting and fulfilling.
IN THE OFFICE
Approximately 20 hours/week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 7:45 to noon and flexible thereafter.
Our office manager is the hub of communication at the creamery, translating what the stores would like for milk and ice cream into the day’s work plan for the production crew. Duties also include invoicing, entering bills, payroll, ordering supplies, and sometimes helping crack eggs for ice cream. Must be super reliable, comfortable with Excel and Quickbooks, generally pleasant, and happy to be in a farm setting.
$15.00/hour and milk and ice cream for both positions.
