The Strafford Organic Creamery is a one-farm, one-family dairy in central Vermont. We milk 50 Guernseys and market their amazing milk in glass bottles, and in super-premium ice cream. Certified organic in 1997 and bottling on our own since 2001, we are committed to sustainable agriculture and dairy without compromises.

Our glass-bottled milk is HTST pasteurized (High Temperature, Short Time) to best preserve its fresh flavor and texture. Look for it at natural food stores and co-ops throughout Vermont and Western New Hampshire. You’ll find a complete line of skim, 1%, 2%, whole, chocolate and old fashioned cream-line milk.
Our Ice Cream
We make our ice cream in small batches, one day each week. We wouldn’t dream of blending our cows’ cream with anything but the highest-quality organic ingredients. We separate fresh eggs by hand, handpick the mint and black raspberries, grind the coffee just before we brew it into the milk, and basically work our tails off to make the best ice cream imaginable.
